The 143 lots of predominantly German drinking glasses netted £804,500 with 83 per cent sold by lot.
Pictured right is the most expensive piece, a 141/2in (37cm) high Silesian covered goblet of c.1700 by Friedrich Winter, relief cut with acanthus, scrolls and a monogram for Grafen Johann Anton von Schaffgotsch, which was secured by a German private buyer for £98,000 (plus premium).
