One of the main features of this sale is the Joseph Boling collection of Japanese and related banknotes. One of the least valuable lots, but photogenic all the same is the 1924 Kwong Tung Cheng $100 note, shown reduced, below right. It is estimated at an affordable US$60-80 (approx £40-55). There are a large number of interesting and attractive notes in this price range.
Pictures above right is a bronze piece of the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368AD). Estimate: US$600-700 (£400-465).
