Second Time Around, pictured right, which was compiled by Greenwich Space Management, comprises an annotated map of shops and markets, giving details of what they specialise in, opening times and contact details. The guide also gives information on how to get to Greenwich by bus, train and boat, as well as advising where best to park.
The GDA, who have made the guide available locally as well as in antique centres across London, hope it will attract domestic and overseas visitors to the town centre and outer lying shops in the borough.
“There is a great selection of shops and markets in Greenwich, many secondhand and antique, they line the pretty streets of the town centre and are an Aladdin’s Cave, waiting to be explored, filled with hidden gems and valuable pieces,” a spokesman said.
