An Olympia Stand Prize of £500 cash will be awarded to the dealer with “the most inspiring stand” at the Spring Olympia, which runs from February 25 to March 2. Two runners-up each receive a magnum of champagne.
The judges are Kit Kemp, interior designer and hotel owner; Matthew Dennison, associate features editor at House & Garden and interior decorator François Gilles.
Stands will be judged on two main criteria: visual impact and whether they inspire a customer to purchase something they had not thought of buying before. The prize is sponsored by Hallett Independent, suppliers of specialist services to the art world.
