Among his first chances to make his mark will be a specialist sale of West Country paintings (including the works of Robert Lenkiewicz) as part of the firm’s sale on October 27.
Andrew Dunstan has joined the Group from Bonhams in Honiton. Formerly the architect of the Phillips ‘fine sales in fine places’ event at Powderham Castle, he will take on the Honiton Galleries saleroom and will be introducing a specialist oak and country furniture section to future sales.
Taking overall responsibility for the Fenner and Honiton salerooms is Martin Dance who, with a total of 25 years experience in the auction market, has joined the Group from Bonhams in Exeter.
The Fine Art Auction Group have been building a network of salerooms in the South East and South West over the past two years and in June announced the acquisition of Bristol Auction Rooms.
Group make three further acquisitions
The Fine Art Auction Group have announced three new appointments aimed at strengthening the Group’s business in the South West. Nigel Trevelyan has joined the group from Rendells in Ashburton to run Robin A. Fenner’s saleroom in Tavistock.
