The Asian and 20th century Indian pictures sale will go ahead on July 6, along with 20th century Chinese art, Modern and Contemporary Chinese paintings and fine classical Chinese paintings and calligraphy.
These will be followed on July 7 with The Imperial Sale, fine Chinese ceramics and works of art, parts one and two, and important watches.
Finally, on July 8, they will hold the sale of magnificent jewellery and jadeite jewellery. Meanwhile, Sotheby’s have rescheduled their magnificent jewels and jadeite sale in Hong Kong for June 9, with viewings from June 7.
New dates set for auctions in Hong Kong
CHRISTIE’S, who have postponed their April Hong Kong sales because of the SARS outbreak, have now published a revised list of sale dates for July.
