Both she and her 35 or so exhibitors are hoping for better times at this weekend’s Wiltshire event, the Marlborough Antiques, Fine Art & Decorative Fair which will be held at Marlborough College, our second largest public school after Eton, from June 4 to 6.
Last year, this traditional fair was imbued with a decorative flavour and this will be continued this year, a trend which no doubt would have met the approval of the great Victorian designer and artist William Morris, one of Marlborough College’s most famous old boys.
Exhibitors are mostly Cooper regulars and as usual the stock will be vetted. Admission is £4.50.
