Dmg Antiques Fairs say the extra names will take the forthcoming fair at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground (June 7-8) to over 3500 stands.
The offer, a one-off, three-fair deal available for stands in certain areas of the site for the next three fairs in June, August and October, is open only to exhibitors who currently stand at the other Dmg events in Ardingly, Detling, Newmarket and Shepton Mallet. As reported in Antiques Trade Gazette No 1636, April 24, the initiative is part of a wider move to address the problem of early leavers on the second day of the two-day fair.
Over 100 dealers take up Newark offer
THE organisers of the Newark International Antiques and Collectors’ Fair say more than 100 dealers have taken them up on an offer of a 50 per cent price break for those who do not currently stand at the giant fair.
