The organisers say that this is a move welcomed by stallholders, adding that Sundays at Swinderby have recently become much slower due to changes in the antiques fair calendar.
Since the change to three-day trading at the nearby Newark fair – and the three-day gap that now exists between the two rival fairs – there has been little to keep standholders in Nottinghamshire for the interlude.
The June dates for Swinderby are Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, with set-up day as usual on Thursday June 2 from 12.30pm.
Future fairs will be held on July 29-30, October 7-8 and November 25-26.

No more Sundays at Swinderby
ARTHUR Swallow Fairs are to cut future Swinderby fairs from three days to two. From the next event in June the RAF Swinderby International Antiques and Collectors’ Fair will be open on the Friday Trade Day and on Saturday but will drop Sunday trading.
