The new website with a fresh contemporary look, www.lapada.org, has been designed by e-2 and is hosted by Online Galleries Ltd who already include The British Antiques Dealers’ Association website under their umbrella. The international dealers’ association CINOA are also expected to sign up to the portal in the near future.
LAPADA’s new site has all the features of its online presence – including the dealer finder, information about buying and selling works of art, the association’s gift voucher scheme, fairs and members’ exhibitions.
In addition association members can now set up and stock their own ‘Online Gallery’.
This easy-to-use facility will enable them to show up to 450 items in their ‘gallery’, which they can change as often as they like. The service is currently available as a free trial with users to be charged an annual fee of between £300-800 depending upon the number of items listed over a 12 month period. The site has been launched with some 4000 works of art for sale from just over 100 dealers.
Sarah Percy-Davis, chief executive of LAPADA commented: “Many months of hard work have now produced a website that will not only provide a better service for our members but also offer collectors, decorators and other dealers around the world instant access to what they are looking for at any time of the day or night.”
LAPADA offer members online gallery
As part of an on-going makeover, LAPADA havelaunched their newly-designed website. For the first time the UK’s largest association of art and antiques dealers will offer members the opportunity to create their own online gallery within the site.
