Antique dealer Colin Smith, who has traded from the Hampstead Antique and Craft Emporium for 12 years, expects Hampstead Auctions Limited to host their first sale at the end of September.
They will hold general auctions with an emphasis on silver and jewellery, the dealer’s speciality. “People in Hampstead often ask me how they can go about selling jewellery and silver and I often get phone calls offering a variety of goods for sale. As a specialist dealer in antique jewellery and silver I am limited in what I can buy – an auction seemed like the obvious way of putting buyers and sellers together.”
Sales will be held fortnightly on Thursdays, at 6.45pm at Hampstead Community Centre, with viewings to be held at Hampstead Antique and Craft Emporium, 12 Heath Street on Wednesdays and Thursdays prior to each sale.
