Originally scheduled for March 28 to 31 at its traditional venue, The Park Avenue Armory, the fair will now run from March 15 to 19 at 583 Park Avenue on the Northeast corner of 63rd Street.
The change of dates meant the fair could not be accommodated at the Armory, but the move also means the fair can be a day longer.
The rescheduling aims to coincide with the New York Asian art auctions at SothebyÕs from March 18 to 20 and ChristieÕs March 19 to 21. The Haughtons also want to avoid the Easter holiday from March 21 to 24.
The change puts the event ahead of Caskey-LeesÕ Arts of Pacific Asia at the Lexington Avenue Armory from March 20 to 24.
What will astonish many observers is that the Haughtons have found a new fairs venue on ManhattanÕs exclusive Upper East Side.
