Silver dealers B. Silverman suffered a break-in at their shop in Campden Street in the early hours of November 30.

The thieves are thought to have used a car-jack to force up the roller blind at the front of shop. Police believe the small gap created was sufficient to allow a small child to squeeze through and effect the theft.

The main shop was protected by a steel security curtain but four items taken were from the front window. As well as three claret jugs, they stole a distinctive Eyptian-revival vase which, along with its pair, is valued at £15,000.
