The EFIT image produced by Bromley Police is said to be a very good match to the perpetrator, who has been described as gaunt, 6ft 4in (1.93m) tall, and with a scar down the side of his face.

The stolen clock was an 8in (20cm) high English mantel timepiece made by James Grohe of Wigmore Street around 1830.

It is hoped its distinctive look will help in its recovery.
