The woman was using a Nationwide chequebook under the name of E.V. Germin and was described as being white, in her early 30s, well spoken and petite with blonde hair.
She bought several items, including a picture and rugs, but when the dealers involved tried to bank the cheques, they were refused as the chequebook was stolen.
