Calls marked for London makers include Peter and Anne Bateman 1798-9, Samuel Godbehere 1785 and Thomas Wallis 1786, while the Birmingham makers include Joseph Willmore 1825-6 and 1857, and Gervase Wheeler 1834.
Two of the Birmingham-marked calls also have presentation inscriptions – Presented Feb 9, 1891 to M.J.R. Baker by the POs and NCOs of HMS Invincible and Presented to Boatswain's Mate W. Darbington HMS Apollo by the sergeants 92nd Highlanders Corfu 1852.
