One of the leading Asian Art dealers specialising in Imperial Chinese Ming and Qing porcelains, jades, ivories, pottery and works of art, Marchant bring a new dimension to the fifth edition of this fair, which has become an established fixture among the top events of the summer in London.

We haven't done a fair in a couple of years here in London and we have faith in the Haughtons' talent in organising excellent fairs. We are delighted."

The Marchant announcement dovetails with one of the major events in this year's varied programme of lectures at the fair: on June 16 Jessica Harrison-Hall, curator of Chinese Ceramics at the British Museum and Sir Percival David Collections and Vietnamese Art, will talk on A Behind The Scenes Look At Ming - 50 Years That Changed China to coincide with the opening of the museum's major exhibition on Ming courts and their international engagement, Ming: 50 years that changed China.
The lecture will shed light on the four years of collaborative research and international co-operation which culminate in the exhibition.
Other new exhibitors confirmed for 2014 include antiquarian print specialist Isaac and Ede of St James's; Imperial Fine Books Inc of New York; Joanna Booth from Chelsea in London with her mix of textiles, sculpture tapestries, Old Master drawings and early furniture; FitzGerald Fine Arts, based in New York, Beijing and Jingdezhen with Contemporary Chinese porcelain and ink painting; decorative arts specialists Carolle Thibaut-Pomerantz of New York and Paris; and Lesley Kehoe Galleries of Melbourne, Australia, dealers in Japanese art, who will present a single-artist exhibition of the works of Contemporary screen artist Maio Motoko.
The Haughtons promise a further major announcement for this year's fair in the near future.
