The valuation course showed a demand from both within the association membership and a significant number of non-members.
The Young Auctioneer competition 2013 was oversubscribed and discussions held with the competitors and others showed an increasing desire for greater knowledge and of this unique profession.
This has helped to provide training content to establish two one-day courses this year, each with a spring and an autumn date: The Methodology of Valuing and Auctioneering (first date is April 9) and the new Basic Skills for Chattels Auctioneers course (first on April 10).
