The items were taken between November 17-19 although ATG understands there were no signs of break-in at the Edwardian estate in Great Bookham near Dorking.
Among the items reported as missing is a turquoise-glazed Kubachi dish which is believed to date from the 17th century. Although neither the National Trust or Surrey Police has placed a value on the missing items, a similar plate but with different patterns to the foliage sold at Sotheby’s for £ 3750 including premium in December 2011.
A silver-plated knife and fork with mother of pearl handles was also taken.
Among the items stolen from Polesden Lacey House was this turquoise-glazed Kubachi dish which is believed to date from the 17th century.
The managers of the Polesden Lacey collection are currently reviewing CCTV with the police.
Investigating officer PC Liam Wilson said: "Any recent visitors to Polesden Lacey House who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously should also call police – any information however small it may seem could help bring those responsible to justice.”
