Running from 11am-1pm, the event is a chance for collectors and first-time antiques shoppers to explore the range of offerings spread over the Woodborough emporium’s two floors.

The family-run business deals in decorative antiques, period furniture, painting, glass and more. But to encourage antiques-shop novices, Digger & Mojo increases its gifts offerings in the lead-up to Christmas, including photo-frames, cashmere and leather items. Top-sellers so far this season include Florentine leather gloves, diamante cuff bracelets and Masai dog collars.

Marc Allum of BBC’s Antiques Roadshow will sign copies of his new book Antiques Roadshow: 40 years of great finds which he co-authored with Paul Atterbury.

The event has a charity element, with £5 from the sale of each signed book and 5% of all sales going to the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.

Digger & Mojo is run by husband-and-wife team Clarissa and Yosh Reilly. The emporium includes a carpentry and restoration workshop as well as upholstery space and two painting rooms, one for hand-painting and the other for spray-painting. Yosh, the restorer, is ex-military, as is Josh, who is in the workshop three days a week caning and rushing chairs.
