This ebonised snuff shoe measuring 4.5 x 1.25 x 2.25in (11.5 x 3 x 6cm) was stolen from the stall of J Collins & Son at the IACF Ardingly fair in June.
J Collins & Son proprietor Jonathan Biggs is hoping a member of the trade will spot the object and alert the police.
The French ebonised snuff shoe with brass pique pins c.1880 has a value of £220. Biggs said: “We reported it to the security and management of IACF the day we found it missing.”
