The dealer body has signed a rental agreement with the Grosvenor Estate, as part of a wider partnership, to host what it is calling BADA Collection at 46 Pimlico Road from June 25-July 10.

The selection of objects for sale will be curated by council members Peter Petrou and Laura Bordignon, drawing from BADA dealers located around the UK. Dealers will pay a fee to take part, individually calculated depending on the object submitted.

With more than 2000 sq ft floor space at 46 Pimlico Road, BADA estimates that it can accommodate between 30-60 dealers.

BADA chose to locate the exhibition – the first time an antiques trade body has rented a retail space – in the Pimlico Road Design District due to the area's profile as an art, antiques and interiors retail hub.

Proximity to Masterpiece

The venue is also less than a mile away from Masterpiece, which runs from June 27 to July 3 at The Royal Hospital Chelsea.

The exhibition’s launch will coincide with the Pimlico Road Summer Party on the evening of June 25.

BADA Collection is a new way to showcase the range and diversity of members’ objects to wider audiences,” said BADA chief executive Marco Forgione. “The event’s focus will be on knowledge, expertise and exceptional objects in one of London’s leading cultural and design hubs.”

The bada.org website will host an online showcase of the event for its two-week duration.
