Estimated at £4000-6000, it was gifted to the anonymous vendor after she went to London to watch a recording of the show in 1971.
Auctioneer Andrew Stowe from the saleroom said the vendor was given the scroll after talking to a cameraman who handed it over as a souvenir.
He added: “Credits were individually created for each show, and then usually disposed of immediately after filming – so this is very rare. Credit scrolls just never survive.”
The credits, which are on photographic card, are from the third series episode Blood, Devastation, Death, War and Horror which was originally broadcast on November 9, 1972.
It featured the Eric Idle-penned sketch The Man Who Speaks In Anagrams, and the end credits actually follow this theme and are written in anagrams.
The top of the scroll reads Tony M Nyphot's Flying Risccu. Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam are instead printed as Hamrag Rachman, John Ecles, Rice Lied, Torn Jersey, Michael Lapin and Marty Rigelli.
It will be offered at East Bristol Auctions’ Entertainment Memorabilia Auction on June 7.
