Marilyn Monroe earrings, necklace and more memorabilia goes under the hammer in Beverley Hills

A collection of large format photographs taken of Marilyn Monroe dressed in various swimsuits, negligees and dresses by Harold Lloyd is offered at Julien’s Auctions’ Legends sales on June 13-14 in Beverley Hills. The lot has an estimate of $600-800.

The pair of ear clips that the actress once wore with three strands of teardrop-shaped rhinestones have an estimate of £30,000-40,000 at Julien’s Auctions’ Legends sale, taking place June 13-14 in Beverley Hills. They are among several offerings relating to Monroe, who would have turned 93 on June 1.

Top among the these lots are the bathrobe she wore as Pola Debevoise in How to Marry a Millionaire, which is estimated at $20,000-40,000, while her six-stranded iridescent crystal necklace in purple and green has an estimate of $10,000-20,000. A two-piece period costume for Ticket to Tomahawk (1950), one of her earliest roles, is estimated at $40,000-60,000.

Offered with slightly lower guides are a cast of her 'Walk of Fame' hand and footprints ($10,000-20,000) as well as a collection of rare large-format photos taken of her in various outfits by Harold Lloyd ($600-800). An assemblage of 33 vintage lobby cards are pitched at $800-1200.

Much more star-studded memorabilia will be available at the two-day sale. Daniel Craig’s James Bond suit from Spectre, for example (estimate of $30,000-50,000) and an 1890s bicycle from Steve McQueen’s collection.
