Golding Young & Mawer

Golding Young & Mawer started with Thomas Mawer in 1864. In its current form, the business is the result of a merger between Golding Young & Co of Grantham and Thos. Mawer & Son of Lincoln in 2010.

A further merger with Richardsons Auctions occurred in 2013.

As well as regular fine art auctions and general sales, the company also offers valuation, transport, removals and house clearance services.

Lincolnshire auctioneer Golding Young & Mawer is to sell the stock and personal collections of Stamford-based antiques dealers Gavin Burns and his son Ross later this month, following their retirement from the business in December 2018.
