Three months ago Kate and Steven Lee opened Antiques at Four, a small 13-dealer antiques centre in the Suffolk town of Beccles, just up the road from their shop, Blyburgate Antiques.

Business is doing so well at the newly acquired and renovated antiques centre in Wallingford, formerly the Lamb Arcade, that turnover has increased by 25%.

Another centre will be added to the Antiques on High brand currently in Oxford, Sidmouth and Bowness-on-Windermere when owner Vincent Page opens a fourth shop “north of Birmingham but south of Bowness,” he says.
