Dr David MacGregor who is joining Chiswick Auctions.
Dr David MacGregor, a longstanding and experienced guitar collector and dealer, has taken up a new role as Chiswick Auctions’ guitar and folk instrument specialist.
He will be coordinating a series of ‘rare and high value’ guitar auctions, with the first taking place on June 14.
MacGregor has previously run online dealership Modern Guitars and worked as a guitar valuation specialist for other auction houses.
He has a particular interest in late last-century American guitars, and has a wide-ranging personal collection, from 1940s and ‘50s Gibson Archtop guitars to early 21st century boutique acoustic and electric models.
Jeremy Hatch who has joined US auction house James D Julia.
Jeremy Hatch has joined US auction house James D Julia as a firearms sales representative.
In this role, he will be responsible for working with the saleroom’s firearms clients “to assist them in the consignment process and to guide them through the auction experience”.
Hatch’s extensive experience includes the past 11 years as a senior sales and marketing executive with Shooting Sportsman magazine.
