This year it runs from December 1-22, and features the works of Impressionist, post-Impressionist and modern artists.
Among the highlights is Fernand Léger’s La Charmeuse d’oiseaux, completed during the artist’s stint in New York during the Second World War. It was during this time that he began using a distinctive style in which he positioned figures and objects outlined in black against bands of colour.
Other works at the show include those by Raoul Dufy, Paul Signac, Jean Arp and Joan Miró.
Among the Impressionist highlights is a Deauville harbour scene by Eugene Boudin, one of the first French landscape artists to paint outdoors.
A selection of works by British artists also features, such as Henry Moore, whose bronze maquette for the monumental Three Standing Figures in Battersea Park is on offer.
