1. “A wonderful example of Cartier in its Art Deco heyday.” This Colombian emerald and pavé-set diamond bracelet by Cartier c.1935 sold in December for a premium-inclusive £257,000 against an estimate of £80,000-100,000.

2. Set with carved emeralds, cabochon sapphires and brilliantcut diamond accents, this bracelet by Andrew Grima, dated 1973, sold for £19,000 in September. This bracelet was exhibited at the Grima retrospective at Goldsmiths’ Hall in 1991.
