An 11in (28cm) Victorian Staffordshire clock figurine of Methodism founder John Wesley (1703-91) is priced at £275 from Tim Bowen Antiques in Carmarthenshire.
Staffordshire figures of prominent religious leaders were particularly popular in Wales during the 19th century.
Although Welsh Methodism was Calvinistic, following the theological tradition and forms of Christian practice of John Calvin, Wesley was greatly respected in Wales. He preached his first sermon there on the village green in Devaduen, Monmouthshire.
This Nathaniel Milles vinaigrette is among a number of silver examples consigned to Swan Fine Art at Tetsworth in Oxfordshire.
The simple 1½in (4.3cm) wide box is incised to the centre with the initials AJ and opens to reveal a pierced silver gilt grille with foliate scroll motif. It is hallmarked NM, 1836, Birmingham, and is estimated at £150-250 in the July 6 auction.

On July 11, Sworders will offer this French silver-mounted cut-glass decanter in its sale in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.
Made by Alexandre Vaguet, Paris, c.1890, it has chased rocaille scrolls and fluting, an acanthus capped handle, and foliate scrolls and flowerheads engraved to the glass.
The underside of the 8in (21.5cm) high decanter is stamped with a retailer’s mark for Tiffany & Co and import marks for Edwin Thompson Bryant, London 1895.
Estimate £300-500.

This Troika wall plaque is among a small collection of prototypes included in David Lay’s June 29-30 sale in Penzance.
The prototypes were made by the Cornish pottery for exhibitions at British store Heal’s, but did not make it into production.
Covered in a bronze glaze, the 5in (12cm) wide plaque was part of a larger wall piece made in the 1970s. It is inscribed to the back Put it Back on the Wall Nosey with an artist’s monogram for Julian Greenwood-Penny.
Estimated at £200-300, it is thought to be one of around a dozen made.
The collection also includes a sketchbook created by one of Troika’s artists between 1977-83, which is filled with designs, sketches and written anecdotes (estimate £1500-2000).
