British Arts & Crafts ring by Dorrie Nossiter sold for £5500 by Bonhams.
Two particularly well-received lots, both in the artist’s trademark cluster-gem style, sold at £5500 each: a pair of clip brooches set with vari-cut emeralds, diamonds and vari-coloured sapphires and a ring with a central cabochon sapphire framed by a surround of vari-cut pink and blue sapphires.
A lot comprising a pair of ear clips and a cluster brooch sold at £2800, the latter set with zircons and green tourmalines around an oval paste intaglio depicting Leda and the Swan.
