Launched in 1986, the Allen Lewis Fairs have been run since 2008 by Candy and Simon Moss of Casemate, who sell and hire display cases.
There is always an emphasis on pieces with a Welsh focus, particularly on ceramics, and dealer Robert Pugh will be bringing this life-size Ewenny Pottery slip-glazed cat from 1909 at £1500 together with a small Ewenny pig of the same date at £975.
Also in Wales this weekend, Brita Rogers of Derwen Fairs is holding two antiques and vintage fairs in Carmarthenshire, one on Saturday October 7 and Sunday October 8 in the verdant setting of the National Botanic Garden at Llanarthne and the other in Llandeilo’s Civic Hall on Saturday October 7 only. Again, expect plenty of Welsh-related pieces at both events.
