Graham Smith Antiques of Horsley in Newcastle upon Tyne is selling a 20th century oak-framed glass fireplace screen with a needlework panel.
The 3ft x 22in (91 x 56cm) piece was made by Colin ‘Beaverman’ Almack, the craftsman who established himself in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, in 1960.
The screen, which dates to c.1970 and is designed to tip and become a coffee table, is carved with the beaver trademark and is priced at £295.
This Italian Capodimonte porcelain pill box is priced at £115 from Regent Antiques in Harringay, north London.
Dating to 1860, the 4 x 9in (10 x 23in) box and cover is decorated in relief with hand-painted panels of putti and ormolu mounts. It bears the blue brown mark and N on the underside for Capodimonte Naples porcelain.
Engraved to the base with a depiction of a bare-knuckle fight, this leather hip flask is priced at £345 from sporting specialist Manfred Schotten Antiques in Oxfordshire.
The scene refers to a fight between Sam Haley and George Probert, fought in Birmingham on December 18, 1866, for £50 each.
The reverse is engraved Neck Oil 1871, and the bottom with Von Moltke and a face.
This Victorian novelty silver condiment salt pot shaped as a sack bears the initials for maker James Charles Edington, London 1866.
The 2in (5.5cm) high piece is priced at £350 from Wax Antiques in Islington, London.
