Preston Benson, the recently appointed managing director of the development, addressed plans for the hub in ‘The Gallery Think Tank: The Evolving Gallery Model’ at the Art Business Conference.

Benson said Cromwell Place will help develop technology for use in gallery administration along with providing offices and flexible working spaces, including hot desks.

The panel also included Vanessa Carlos of Carlos/Ishikawa gallery and antiques and works of art dealer Lennox Cato.

The focus of discussion was the importance of collaboration as the art and antiques trade faces challenges such as rising rents and rates.
