Taking place from October 6-8, the Esher Hall Antiques & Fine Art Fair brings together around 30 dealers bringing an assortment of jewellery, silver, furniture and more to Sandown Park Racecourse in Surrey.

Though it styles itself a ‘boutique’ event, it is a contemporary version of the good old-fashioned antiques fair, pitched to appeal to interior designers and decorators as well as private collectors.

Among the exhibitors at this year’s event are furniture specialist Melody Antiques, Catherine Hunt Oriental Antiques, Richard Price with a selection of clocks and lighting and antique glass specialists Fileman Antiques. Grasilver attend as first-time exhibitors with a selection of vintage jewellery.

Many exhibitors are members of BADA or LAPADA and the fair is fully vetted with a dateline of 1970 in most disciplines.

“This was the first boutique fair we introduced to the south of England, but it appears to attract people from much further afield,” says fair director Ingrid Nilson.

“For the past nine years people have come from all over England and as far north as Scotland as well as the US, Europe and even Singapore.”
