Kay, also founder of SalvoWeb, the online marketplace and dealer directory for architectural salvage, says: “After two years’ intensive programming with two Russians and a Hungarian I launched a responsive website at salvoweb.com, wrote and published the first edition of the free Salvo Pocket Guide [a page pictured above] and shared a platform with Kevin McCloud discussing salvage and reuse at Grand Designs Live in May in London.”
An announcement will be made later in the year regarding the 2019 Salvo fair.
This year’s event was temporarily replaced by Décor-International, held on June 1-3, after Lady McAlpine hosted the event at the Fawley Hill Estate near Henley-on-Thames.
