The 1965 United Artists’ production is the only Beatles film for which door panels were produced, but they are rare survivors in any case.

Few were ordered by cinema owners, who had little space to display them. They were also expensive to order. Moreover, sets ordered for the initial showing were broken up and given away to fans.

Heritage’s set carries an estimate of $10,000-20,000.

The sale also features posters for famous science-fiction films created by Bob Peak, a commercial artist and poster designer who worked on the Star Trek films. It includes his original artwork for a Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home poster estimated at $40,000-80,000.
