Bellamy is bringing to the fair on Saturday and Sunday, May 12-13, this striking 1930s unsigned – but “most certainly Austrian” – bronze sculpture of a male with two beautifully marked panthers on leads, set on a marble base, priced at £2500, picture above.

Plenty of Art Deco choice is on offer including furniture from some 25 of the UK’s best-known dealers in the genre including Shine on Design, The Design Gallery, Stephen Hazell-Smith, Hilary Conquy and Art Deco Art.

Visitors to the fair will also want to take in the remarkable Art Deco mansion which is attached to the palace.

This was built in 1933 for art collectors Virginia and Samuel Courtauld of textiles fame and is a masterpiece of 20th century design.
