Signed CdeT and with full London hallmark for 1969, it comes in its original box, with gilt facsimile signature and reading Designed exclusively for Watches of Switzerland Ltd 14, New Bond Street, London W1. It has an estimate of £1500-2000 at Dix Noonan Webb in London on November 29.

De Temple, whose work in the British Modernist style made him part of the swinging London scene led by designers such as Andrew Grima, John Donald and David Thomas, rose to fame after designing several pieces that featured in the 1965 Bond movie Goldfinger, including the actual gold finger itself.
