Also long-running in Wexford, at 47 years, is the antiques fair held in the Talbot Hotel on the quay which is held for five days during the festival.
This year it runs from Thursday to Monday October 25-29 (the festival itself is held from October 19-November 4).
Organised by Helen and Chris Kavanagh of Parnell Antiques in Enniscorthy, who took it over in 2012, this fringe 25-dealer event – the maximum number the hotel can accommodate – offers Georgian furniture, Irish art, mirrors, silver and militaria among other antiques staples by professional dealers from across the republic.
