Forces et Mouvements exhibition at Galerie François Léage from September 11-November 16 includes a pair of Louis XIV boulle caskets on a marble topped commode by Riesener and Weisweiler with François Morellet’s painting from 1993, tableau 20° 120° Neon 0° 110, above.
Created in association with the artist and critic Louis Amar, the exhibition will mix old and new combining works by 15 contemporary artists with pieces by cabinetmakers and bronziers from the 18th century.
