Gouache by René Gruau, the Italian-born fashion illustrator who was renowned for his Paris haute couture and promotional illustrations, which will feature in Tajan’s May 15 auction estimated at €4000-6000.
The 18½ x 15in (47 x 38cm) ink and gouache on paper, Femme a la Tour Eiffel, of 1995, monogrammed lower right, has an estimate of €4000-6000.
