The building’s current owner, John Potts, said: “When Collectors’ Corner closed over the road some of the dealers had nowhere to go so I thought this would be a great antiques centre.
“The building is an integral part of the town and the centre will hopefully boost the town. People who have already visited have loved it.”
The centre’s 10 local dealers’ offerings include automobilia, militaria and general collectables.
