Omas Filarmonica pen – £950 at Barbara Kirk.
Based in Bologna, Omas produced elegant pens from 1925 until the works closed three years ago.
One of the rarer examples at the Penzance sale on November 26 was the c.2004 celluloid limited edition Filarmonica LE pen.
With an 18ct gold music nib engraved with script FT and the barrel stamped Filarmonica & Limited Edition No.004/300, it came with its original box and pen pouch and sold above estimate at £950.
