Running from Friday to Sunday, March 8-10, the event near Salisbury includes Sheldon Shapiro with silver and Russian works of art, Mark Goodger with antique boxes and accessories, Blackbrook Gallery with 19th century animal paintings and Legge Carpets with antique carpets and textiles.

This fair takes place in the patrician surroundings of the 19th century cloisters designed by James Wyatt and the riding school at the grand Palladian mansion near Salisbury, ancestral home to the Earls of Pembroke for 400 years.

Prices range from under £50 to £50,000.

At the lower end dealer Andrew Barber offers some engravings including a late 18th century engraving of a medal of Mary Queen of Scots struck during her reign.

Higher up the scale, a late 17th century William and Mary olivewood and holly oyster-veneered chest of drawers costs £18,500 from Simon Powell of Freshfords Fine Antiques.
