Worcester dishes of ‘Blind Earl’ form – £2800 at Dreweatts.
The dishes are painted with fruit, flowers and insects described as in the manner of James Giles, the London atelier where some of the Worcester porcelain was outsourced for decoration.
They sold for £2800 (£300-500 estimate) at the auction on April 16-17.
