One was a c.1560-70 maiolica istoriato footed dish, probably potted and decorated in Urbino.
The subject of the 10½in (26.5cm) diameter dish is the boar-hunting Picus and the sorceress Circe gathering herbs before she turned him into a woodpecker for spurning her advances.
The dish had a crack from rim to centre and minor chips, but sold to the London trade at £5000 (estimate £1500-2000).
A 2ft 1½in (65cm) wide 19th century Indian carved hardwood casket, however, went home.
Carved with winged sphinx feet and a frieze of standing deities, it was incised for the maker Sourob Hunoonun.
Against a £500-700 estimate, it sold to an Indian bidder at £4400.
