The Pennsylvania-based saleroom says it plans to take the 57-year-old annual firearms show “to another level, both in terms of attendance and the number of dealers participating.”

Morphy Auctions founder Dan Morphy will partner current organiser Beinfeld Productions. However, due to a scheduling conflict at the venue, the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, the first show under the new collaboration will be February 28-March 1, 2020.

“Ordinarily the show is held in mid to late January. It will revert to that timeframe in 2021,” Morphy said.

Launched in 1962 by Las Vegas dealer-collector Harry Mann, the fair attracts a global audience of exhibitors and buyers.

Morphy Auctions acquired the business of the Maine antique arms and armour specialist auction house James D Julia in 2017.
