This impressive Regency mahogany revolving library table, possibly made by Gillows of Lancaster, closely follows a design in Thomas Sheraton’s The Cabinet-Maker, Upholsterer and General Artists’ Encyclopaedia, 1805.
Details include scroll carved arm supports, bellflower pendants to the pedestal and four ‘crocodile’ style feet.
It is estimated at £20,000-30,000 at Toovey’s of Washington, West Sussex, on November 8.
