This fair is organised by the Craft Potters Association and was launched in York last year. It was a big success with 1200 visitors over the weekend of the event.
Running concurrently with the fair, the Centre of Ceramic Art (CoCA) at the York Art Gallery will be hosting workshops and talks, which include a book reading and film about the 16th century French Huguenot potter Bernard Palissy and his struggles to discover the lost secrets of Italian tin-glazed earthenware.
